A Bit About Me
I’m from Nigeria, and I am a Psychology major/business minor.
I started reading at a young age, but can only date my most vivid reading experiences to when I was 8 years old. Reading was a no brainer for me, as the was a regular supply of books – I once devoured a whole dictionary called “children’s scholastic dictionary”. My love for books probably started when I took ‘Literature in English’ back at primary school.
My favorite authors are China Achebe, Wilbur Smith, and Sefi Atta, to mention but a few; to speak plainly, I am still discovering amazing authors.
I read an average of 22 books per year.. My biggest take out of being part of this community would be to have honest and meaningful literary conversations with fellow members, and to see the perspective of literary works through the eyes of others. Interesting fact, I once did a whole day reading marathon.
